SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Although Castle Fun is responsible for the supply and general maintenance of the equipment, the Hirer is responsible for its operation and supervision of users. For your information, safety and enjoyment the Hirer should carry out the following instructions:

• Do not allow users who DO NOT conform to height/age restrictions to use the Unit.

• Keep the entrance/exit areas clear of onlookers so that you have a clear view and can ensure that users enter/exit the unit safely.

• Keep users off the unit when it is being inflated or deflated. Deflate the unit when not in use.

• Shoes must be removed, along with any hard, sharp or dangerous objects. Spectacles are best removed.

• Nobody must be allowed to climb or hang on the walls of the castle or bounce on the front step.

• Do not overload the castle & limit the number of users to approx 6 children on 12ft castles & 10 children on 16ft castles this allows each child enough room to play safely. (Allow more or less depending on the size and weight of the child.)

• If the castle fails for any reason, evacuate immediately to prevent injury, switch off castle at the mains, then check blower tube has not come off or untied, if so slip tube back on & tie back up, before switching back on at the mains. (if this does not work call proprietor)

• Beware in wet conditions the castle will become very slippery. If the unit has a shower cover it is only a shower cover and not a total guarantee against heavy rain.

• If the unit becomes wet or slippery, ensure that it is thoroughly dried with a towel before recommencing use.

• It is not recommended that electric blowers are used in wet conditions, however the operator may use the blower if the conditions are not to bad provided an RCD circuit breaker is used (not provided).

• Never switch the blower on & off while the castle is in use.

• Occasionally check that the castle is still securely pegged down.

• Water fights are fun, but DO NOT spray water near the electric fan.

• No food, drink or cigarettes to be taken into the castle. No silly string or party poppers to be sprayed or popped on the castle.
